An ecological transition project involving investment will generally require an ambitious action plan, on which it is important to communicate with impact using high-performance tools and deploying a responsible communications strategy.

Intentions
  • Gather trainees’ intentions in order to take their expectations into account throughout the course
Define your vision and the areas of commitment for your communications
  • Conduct a competitive analysis and benchmark to draw inspiration from successful green transition communications in your sector.
  • Greenwashing, scattered commitments, lack of internal commitment, poor evaluation: analyze the recurring pitfalls and draw up best practices for your communications strategy.
  • Strategic axes, tactics and implementation, timetable, budget, evaluation: draw up a roadmap to share your actions effectively.
Implement the communication of the ecological transition action plan
  • Clarity, objectives, credibility, proof: establish clear prerequisites to guarantee the success of your communication actions and the respect of your commitments.
  • Organize the communications team to take account of this new challenge
  • Listening, consultation, interest mapping: taking into account and respecting the stakes of all stakeholders in order to involve them.
  • Use high-performance, responsible communication tools to increase efficiency: eco-socio-design, message development, distribution, transparency.
Evaluate the deployment of its ecological action plan communication strategy
  • Define precise objectives for the assessment to frame its implementation
  • Identify key indicators to monitor and improve the performance of our actions in the service of our values.
  • Budget, service provider, outsourcing criteria…: define the assessment action plan and the resources to be allocated.
  • Develop a warning system to anticipate crises and limit deviations.
  • Objectives, audience, format: provide a framework for evaluating the impact of your communication in order to measure and present the effectiveness of your strategy.
Enhancing the employer brand in line with the ecological transition action plan
  • Define the benefits of the action plan (socio-environmental) in terms of the attractiveness of the employer brand to different targets: employees, customers, service providers, partners, candidates, etc.
  • Define the means of promotion: internal channels (plenary meetings to present the strategic vision to the whole company twice a year, more regular sharing in business sub-groups once a quarter) and external channels (RS, website, newsletter, trade fairs, etc.).
  • Define evaluation criteria to monitor progress
Summary and conclusion
  • Future projections by trainees: how to make the best use of what they have learned in their company

Pedagogical methods

Teaching method: a learning approach alternating interactive activities and case studies using the group’s collective intelligence, content input by the trainer, and company work.
