Support for the design and implementation of R&D partnerships to make the ecological transition a success.

At the end of this training course, participants will have understood how R&D partnerships can help their companies accelerate their ecological transition, and will have drawn up a preliminary partnership project, with players specific to their situation and their company.

  • Identify ecological transition themes for which an R&D partnership can play an essential role.
  • Understand how partnerships can help the company achieve its ecological transition objectives .

  • Create a virtuous “project mode ” to materialize the partnership.
  • Measure the success of the partnership with reliable indicators.
  • Draw up an R&D partnership pre-project for your company.

Intentions
  • Gather trainees’ intentions in order to take their expectations into account throughout the course
Identification of key themes
  • Knowing how to sort: which R&D areas can be carried out in-house, outsourced, or through partnerships
Shared ambitions and value creation
  • Learn to define an overall ambition, and to translate it into measurable, time-bound objectives, for the partnership as a whole and for each of the players involved.
  • Select partnerships perfectly suited to the R&D project, according to clearly defined criteria: recognized expertise in ecological transition or the circular economy (number and quality of published articles, institutional solidity, research networks, etc.).
  • Define the value created for each partner – not only “ecological value”, but also financial, intellectual, academic, media value, etc.
A virtuous project mode for partnership R&D
  • Define a project governance structure that enables fine-tuned, effective steering (project manager, steering committee, etc.), involving decision-makers and stakeholders from different functions: management, R&D, CSR, ecological transition, operations, finance, etc.
  • Define and specify the content of research and development themes
  • Define “workstreams” or “workshops” for each identified theme, with carefully selected participants, clearly established roadmaps, a clearly quantified budget and resources, and precise deadlines.
  • Follow the project’s progress operationally, with clearly identified milestones, and materialize the research project’s progress.

  • Presentation of the ambitions and constraints of each participant / company

Pedagogical methods

Face-to-face training

Brief presentation of the theory behind each topic, followed by exercises and case studies

Group work on case studies, to encourage collective intelligence, followed by a debriefing with the trainer.
