Manage communication campaigns on your company’s ecological transition action plan

Pedagogical objectives

At the end of this course, trainees will be able to :

  • Clearly communicate the operational action plan resulting from the ecological transition project: Which objective(s), which targets, which messages on which channels?
  • Involve the company’s various departments (business sub-groups) and all employees (internal communication)
  • In external communications,use social networks and the website to communicate the action plan: press releases, newsletters, etc. to improve the employer brand and its attractiveness.
  • Apply best practices andavoid pitfalls (greenwashing) in communicating the action plan.
  • Deploy effective communication and monitoring tools

Ecological transition referent or any professional whose job involves communication, in charge of communicating the company’s ecological transition plan.

  • Gather trainees’ intentions in order to take their expectations into account throughout the course
Define your vision and the areas of commitment for your communications
  • Clarify the foundations and limits of its ecological transition action plan to determine the scope of responsibility and design an operational strategy.
  • Draw up a roadmap to share actions effectively: timetable, budget, evaluation
  • Greenwashing, scattered commitments, lack of internal commitment, poor evaluation: analyze the recurring pitfalls and draw up best practices for your communications strategy.
Implement the communication of the ecological transition action plan
  • Clarity, objectives, credibility, proof: establish clear prerequisites to guarantee the success of your communication actions and the respect of your commitments.
  • Rapidly deploy the first communication actions to win success and support, and establish relevant partnerships: NGOs, institutions, associations, influencers…
Enhancing the employer brand in line with the ecological transition action plan
  • Define the benefits of the action plan (socio-environmental) in terms of the attractiveness of the employer brand to different targets: employees, customers, service providers, partners, candidates, etc.
  • Define the means of promotion: internal channels (plenary meetings to present the strategic vision to the whole company twice a year, more regular sharing in business sub-groups once a quarter) and external channels (RS, website, newsletter, trade fairs, etc.).
Summary and conclusion
  • Future projections by trainees: how to make the best use of what they have learned in their company

Pedagogical methods

Teaching method: a learning approach alternating between interactive activities and case studies drawing on the group’s collective intelligence, content input by the trainer, and company work in the case of inter-company training.

The method follows a progression starting with the alignment of all participants with the training objectives, alternating between experiential moments, content input by the trainer and work on practical cases, and concluding with a projection into the learners’ future to anchor learning.
